Hen Night, performance and installation, duration: 10 minutes, 2020

Wearing a large spider costume I crouch, kneel and stand for a ‘seductive’ dance. I apply lipstick with the heel of a hanging shoe and use plaited hair as a tail then tongue. The sewn mat or ‘web’ is inspired by the bachelorette party tradition of wearing ‘Learner’ plates and humorous sashes. Maybe it’s a spider night rather than a hen night?
